All elements have some type of sparkle or shimmer except the journaling and the word strip. All elements are touching the photo except the scatters which fall off the cluster (pink stars and blue sequins) and the journaling of course.

i'm late to the darkle party and didn't get to play as long as i'd like to but the cool sheen on this black paper by Paula was perfect with the 'awesome real paintstrokes' by NBK (and yes that's what they're called and it's absolutely true - the glitter and metallic look to them is ultra-real!( @NBK-Design -super, duper paint pack!)) an a touch more sparkle by Sahlin (the thread and tulle are my non-metallics/sparkleys)
Thanks for the fun challenge! I like the way dark backgrounds look, but I don't usually use them as shadows don't show well on them. I used a photo from NYE 2015. My how time flies!
