Here's my take! Thanks for the beautiful cut file!

 

Well This did not turn out at all like I expected... Lined up a half dozen photos I thought might work... Chose this one because I have always wanted to do a page with the sculpture on it... Took the photo the day of the Silhouette challenge. but it did not work for that.. It stands in front of the old City Hall and I have no idea the back story... Guess I could look it up???? so I clipped a piece of concrete paper , that was nice and rough and very beige.. I wanted rust to go with the bricks and the rusty metal of the figure... so messed around and got it to a color I was happy with,... put a bit of an edge on it to separate from the dark background... and a drop shadow... Did not expect to like the blue paper, but in the end it accented the bits of blue in the photo... win win...

 

So glad to be given the opportunity to play with a cut file - thank you Scrapping with Liz. Thanks for the challenge! I played with it for a bit trying to figure out how to do it and didn't like any of the papers I clipped to it. Finally decided to leave it black. I found out though that you have to have a paper on it to put an inner shadow on it. Next time I will know what to do.

Holy moly . . . I need to use cut files with styles more often! This was so easy to customize to my layout colors!

 

a wreath of fun...i have the cut file 6 times, bevel with painted (made layer) behind the file
crazy fun to do!

 

I LOVE seeing all these different ways to use the cut file. Fabulous job, everyone!

 

Here we are, and you can see a little bit of some interference I've dealt with during MOC.
