Now that I'm done I'm starting to worry that my creativity won't be accepted -- because I decided to blend it in instead of make it look like cut paper -- but the rules do not say we must make it look cut, just that we must use the file. Am I ok?
Thank you so much!!! I do know how to clip paper to templates and have done it a lot. I was just more in the mood for blending today I guess.
I only used the goodies from Forever Joy's Vitamin Sea in this page. I left the template black and used it twice with a clipping mask and a background paper. this is my local beach with Charles Island in the background, there is a myth that a pirate buried treasure on Charles Island. In 1699, the island's most famous visitor stopped by and allegedly buried treasure and then cursed the ground in which it sat. Scottish pirate Captain William Kidd was on his last voyage of his career when he visited the area, just before being lured into a trap leading to his trial and execution. Thankfully, it is protected for birds now.
This was so fun! Thanks for the challenge and the cutout! I used NBK's impasto styles to try to create a stained glass look. All credits in Gallery
Another “scary” one for me, as downloading files to my iPad is still such a mystery! Will it work? Where is it? But, as you can see, it DID work. In another sense it was a challenge, because I seldom, if ever, use such decorative motifs. This one seemed to fit beautifully with the gorgeous sweater my DD just finished. So...THANK YOU for the cut-out AND the challenge.
Thank you so much for this gorgeous challenge, Monica @dailydwelling and for the freebie, Liz @Scrapping with Liz I used a solid paper and an inner shadow

Day 30: Cut File Use the provided cut file on layout. I used TLP All about ME, YOU and US kit. I covered the cut file with the wood background then clipped various papers to the flowers and leaves. This photo is one of Shelby by herself on her wedding day, 5/31/19 which is also her birthday and her husbands birthday (yep, same birthday).
