This was a fun one. I have 58 words:

 

I think I made my first selfie in the early 90's, long before smartphones even existed and I've been doing a pretty good job of including myself in my scrapbooks. Curious, I verified that by clicking through my TLP gallery.
And anyone who knows me knows I love journaling!

Ladies, you are all beautiful in your own way. Keep on taking those pictures of yourselves so future generations know who you were.

I take selfies, not because I am young, thin or pretty. I'm not. But I want people to know who I was when I am gone. I don't like selfies when taken on the phone because like @Memaw2Wm, holding the camera without it shaking so I can take the photo isn't easy. Pretty much why I prefer using a regular old camera! I've done many selfies in the past with my regular camera, especially when they have the flip out view screen so you can see what you are actually taking a picture of. One of my best photos was done that way.

I also take photos of myself just because no one else is in the house to do it. So unless I am at an event where multiple people are taking photos and they share with me, I don't have photos of myself. But regular day to day life needs to be documented as well as the special events so in order to do that I have take photos of myself.

I took a bunch of Snapchat selfies Sunday and thought I'd use one of them to tell about my first concert (Backstreet Boys), but then a cute dog filter showed up on Snapchat Monday so I went with this page instead. Thanks for the loads of inspiration! I love how many selfies you take -- and scrap!
