January 19 - Cut Out Background

Oh Jenn! I want to play with this technique more when I'm feeling more creative! Kept mine super simple for now, but won't forget this technique!

Thanks for pushing me on this one, took me a few tries, and I loved looking at everyone's take on it.

 

Aaagh. I just realised we need physical holes where the cutouts are from not just rotated shapes over the top of the patterned paper. I need to walk away and come back to this if I have to fiddle with it again.

@Jenn macabe Thanks Jenn, I redid it last night before I went to bed so that it shows the cutouts. I'll keep my original for myself. I don't like this one quite as much, it feels cluttered with the 'holes' visible.

This was so much fun!!!

 

I cut out balloons and then adjusted the transparency of most of them because I like to see through my balloons
Second attempt at this. I did this days ago and then my photoshop spontaneously closed before I saved. Couldn't bring myself to redo it until now. Almost the same but I used a different patterned paper this time.
