    Oh my Goodness... So much fun!!!! loved learning this... ... of course I could play with it all day... had to restrain myself!!!! ...and this page I have been trying to get done all month long!!! Yay!!!!! I put pink paint on the word Snakes, and reversed it for the heart, putting grey on a pink heart....

    @bcgal00 - when I rasterize and the lock the layer of my alpha, PS then says I can't use the brush tool because the layer is locked. What am I doing wrong? I'm going crazy! Lol - Thanks in advance!

    Hey There Everyone...I Am Using PSE...I Was Playing Around But Not Sure If I Am Doing This Correctly?

    I Started With This Flower:

    I Used The Paint Brush,Refined The Edges & Smoothed It Out A Bit & Got This Result...Is This The Proper Idea?

    @Mama Shades It's not the brush layer you lock, it's the element layer so that when you brush over that layer it doesn't go off the edges. Make sense?

    Hmmm...I'm sure I'm doing something totally wrong but I am locking the layer on the layers panel. Then I go to the brush tool and that's when it gives me the error message. Do I need to duplicate the layer first?

    You need to do the partial lock - the one that only locks the transparent pixels. Hope this helps.
