I'm verklempt now, I didn't do anything different in making this page but when I try to upload it, I'm getting an error message that the page is too big. Help me, Rhonda?
Okay, here goes. I used Paula Kesselring's Squeeze the Elephant kit (PK STE) and Etc Dan's Pop Culture paint one. Then in the element from Paula Kesselring's Squeeze the Elephant, # 31, I used a brush tool style from wet media brushes # 24. Each little green circle (element # 31 PK STE) has a different pattern on it. I didn't duplicate them. I used a clipping mask with Etc Dan's Pop Culture paint one on top of the PK STE elements #17 and #18. So much fun to learn something new! thank you to the super gal, Jang, for her help!! oddly enough, I am getting the error message saying the page is too big for the gallery even though I changed it, so should I delete this one entirely and go with the second page? please and thank you.
Very creative challenge ! It's the first time that I used this technique and I love it. Thank you for the idea
I made another page because I was so worried about not conforming to the rules. The word love is dipped. I used Etc Dan Time Teller paint 1, Etc Dan Wings Alpha L, o,v,e. Pink Reptile Designs, Feeling blue paper 11. Forever Joy Oh Boy matt blue with the opacity changed, Banner denim (x 4) and craft frame. Can you tell that I have been over thinking this?
MOC8 1/23 Paint Dipping Created with Amy Wolff's Winter Song kit plus Shimmer alpha. I used paint dipping mainly on my title with a small amount on the flower on the left page of the book and on the leaf on the right page. https://the-lilypad.com/forum/galleries/01_23-createpaintdipping.420327/
MOC 23 Paint Dipping January 23, 2020 Early head shots for my friend's band back in the 80's. They didn't go far, but the drummer, Ricky, was good enough to be in Rick Nelson's band, but sadly he was killed in the plane crash with Rick, 3 days after his 23rd birthday. I used the paintbrush on the card below the photo - dipped the top in green and the bottom in the purple/blue. I used a tag that was already painted, but I painted the edges green over the gesso that was already there. I made the "Rockin' Shadows" word art and dipped the words in green on the bottom, and purple on the top - and left some of the white in the middle. Elements used: Stitches: A New Me Collab Word Art, wood background paper: "Life is: Having a Brother" Collab Music Note Paper Card I colorized, leaves spray, tag, paint edging, : "Life is: Feeling Grateful" Collab Music Note paper flowers, word stamp behind picture, : "Laugh Often" Collab Gesso splotches: Lili Wi Designs "Timeout" Label, black confetti: "Life is: Feeling Blue" Collab
Painted the top half of Love with a wet brush with pink-then used Dissolve blending mode which gave it a glitter look. The other wordart is an element of R McMeen and does not count towards the challenge.
