January 21- Organic Botanicals

Finally done! When I first read this challenge, I thought, "That will be fun and easy." Then I started looking through my kits, and it didn't take long to realize that if I wanted more than foliage, this was going to be quite a challenge! It was still fun and I got a page done, so thanks for the inspiration!



Organic, botanical elements:

This was harder than I expected. Can you believe I have over 1,500 flowers in my stash but only 3 of them are real? Leaves were easier. My search for "twig" came up with that leafy twig and about 5 other results that were all drawings or fabric. And I have only these real pinecones and acorns. There were a couple other fake ones.

 

Here is mine, this was fun!

I have 9 botanicals in the main cluster.
Three leaves element
Single leaf element
Curly twig
Small branch twig
Orange flower
Pink flower with leaves
White flower
Spray of thin grass-like element.
Small green blossom

 

5 bits:
- Cedar bit and maple leaf in left corner
- Twig frame
- Two leaves in bottom right corner

 

So my items are 1. Pinecone and 2. maple leaf from Mommyish Boho Fall, 3. Pinecone from ForeverJoy Comfort and Joy,4. Pine branch from comfort and Joy, 5. green leaves from Comfort and Joy, 6. Cotton piece from Boho Fall

This took some searching through my files to find elements that met the criteria. I used 4 leaves and 1 acorn.
