January 14 - Photography Technique Silhouette

It's amazing how a photography challenge helped me notice the little things around me! Thanks!

 

Last night when we babysat our grandchildren, two of them helped me achieve my silhouette photo.

 

Going to be a long cloudy spell, so focused on the trees.

 

Here's my LO, loved taking on of these pictures on purpose hahaha

I love the idea of silhouette photos, but I am too lazy to do it often. LOL thanks for the challenge Courtney!

My own little Mystery Science Theatre 3000 - don't worry...I only had them stand that close to the tv for a minute, haha!

 

OK, this one was waaaaay out of my comfort zone. Not happy with my photo, but it was the best of the lot. And I took a LOT of photos. Good thing they are digital. LOL! Hope this fits your requirements.

 

New technique for me. I did my best with our cloudy winter weather here:
This is my Lavendar bush, it sits in my front window waiting for sun..hoping to bloom

 

this was perfect timing as I just got back a few days ago from a holiday where I took some wonderful sunset photos, which is why I am so far behind this year with MOC.

 

So, I grabbed my future son in law.. please? Daughter: Mom, don't bother him. Me: The sunset is just right. Thank goodness, he is so nice.
I was all about the Pink Reptile Designs and Etc Dan for this.

Here is mine..we haven't had too much sun here lately... I took the first one and my brother in law who is the Police marine unit took the other photo
