so this challenge is the most interest my DD has shown in digiscrapping for a few years (i know!) so she took it upon herself to sort out a QR code for some videos she had of our bird George - the only way i take a video is accidentally on my phone if it's glarey and i can't see the capture photo circle on the screen and i end up scrolling across to video so i don't really have many, but we tried to get some of him talking - i told her your QR code steps were on the screen and left the laptop open and she said she didn't need steps (teens and technology) and put 3 videos in a googledrive folder and so the QR code apparently points to that folder (i believe it's public but only if you have this QR code or a link, but honestly i have no idea) so that if we add any other videos of him in the future (where he's 'pretend flying' in front of the fan or doing his weird jazzy scatty whistling ) then they're all viewable from the same scrapbookpage link, so the first one is nothing really, he wouldn't sing and got camera shy; the 2nd one he does his meowing and talks to himself, the 3rd one he sort of chitters as he straightens his many feathers) - anyway, there you go, the story behind my page!
Love using QR codes on my layouts, thought I'd challenge myself a little more and make a little photo/video montage for this page, such a great way to add extra photos - thanks for the fun challenge.
Here's my page! I was at this show, so it was great to be able to include a QR code with the live show's recording.
I had never done anything with scrapping this because I had mostly taken video and the photos I had were nothing special, so I’m so glad this challenge came along and made me look closer at it. I love how much the videos capture of the kids’ personalities and sibling dynamic. They sure have changed a lot in 3½ years! I also pulled stills from the videos, which was new for me; 6 of the 9 photos are from the videos! Thanks, Karen!
