The sun came out this afternoon and I was able to get this photo of the neighbors cactus. I did walk about down to the wash, but none of those seemed worthy. I was happy to capture this one. I did use the content aware to remove a light pole and the truck that was in their driveway (I am amazed at the results of removing the truck.)
I hope this is enough of a silhouette? It was hard to find the perfect angle... without falling in the pool haha.
DS was splshing in very shallow puddles but he gave me this idea yesterday, so i pulled out an umbrella and he cooperated long enough to get a silhouette pic, this is as much of a sunset we've seen in weeks but yay rain!
Thanks for teaching me a new photography technique! This was a fun challenge; I'm just glad that I remembered to take the photo today and that we had such a bright, clear sunny day all day ... even if the temperature was frigid!
I had to drag Tige away from his iPad to get him to pose for me, he asked if he could use his Ukulele so hey totally had to go with it!

Jan 14 - Photography Technique - Silhouette Credit in the gallery. I love photography techniques, but this one took me a couple of days because I wasn't able to catch the right light - and I'm still not sure this photo is good enough. Thanks for the challenge! https://the-lilypad.com/forum/galleries/jan-14-photography-technique-silhouette.418685/
