Vellum is a fabulous way to hide journaling.....Especially if you layer a few pieces over top of each other?

    No photo required.

Write them both. Use one for this, and maybe you can adopt the other story to fit a different challenge.

Now that I’ve had time to think, I’m not sure one of my stories is quite right for this challenge - it’s the story I initially thought of when I saw the challenge though . A decision made by others (as I was too young) when I was 15 that they thought was best for me infact years later turned out to not be the greatest decision and if I could turn back time I’m not sure the same decision would have been made

I hate journaling challenge (like everyone else), but this one is going to be too easy. LOL. Last year I said this exact phrase to my hubby and that story will be what I'm scrapping!

Hmm.. this will take some thinking. I’ve got two stories right off the bat which would work perfectly with the phrase, but they’re more on the humorous side and don’t fit the rest of the expectations/requirements of the challenge. Not that I don’t have stories that meet all the requirements... just figuring out which one to use :)
I was wondering where all the journaling challenges had gone ;)

That definitely sounds like it fits the idea!

And as others said, no photo is required, so you're good to go!

I think that's why I was brave enough to tackle hosting this journaling one! It's such a wide open topic and so familiar to a lot.

Can't wait to read your story!!

Humourous stories would definitely still fit the guidelines! A personal story is just one related to you, it doesn't have to be personal as in sensitive. It can still be lighthearted completely!

Thank you so much for this gorgeous challenge, Elisa @EHStudios
Journaling is really not my favorite and so it was a big challenge for me

    journaling:
When it became clear that I could no longer work after my serious illness, my husband and I decided to adopt a kitten from the animal rescue service. We chose Liv, who was found injured at the age of 5 months and carelessly thrown into a ditch. So it was now - mainly for me - feeding, playing, cuddling, going to the vet, cleaning the litter box. In the beginning she was very reserved. But that changed quickly. Little by little she explored the house and always found new sleeping places. After 6 months we decided to leave her outside. There was great fear that she would run into the street and be run over. And above all the question - would she always come back? But we quickly learned that Liv comes and goes without leaving. She is always there somehow. In the mornings and afternoons she likes to walk through the garden with me. Then no tree is too high. She really enjoys it. And she is a great hunter. Sometimes she brings home a living mouse. Then we have to "hunt" together. And although we have been on holiday separately since Liv has been with us, it was the best decision. She makes us so happy, rewards us with cuddling and it is just wonderful that she is there.

It sounds to me like I
Might have to put the journaling in the gallery. If that’s the case, I’ll just have to change my topic.
