The vellum is over the whole photo but the house which I put a frame around has an opacity that is slightly lighter.
i have had half an idea for a space page with this shot of DS using his VR viewmaster looking at the solar system for a while (or really it's just the ceiling that he's looking at from the photo alone -that gold circle is one of our downlights) and wasn't sure how to do it but this challenge ended up being the last piece of the idea i needed - i used the polygonal lasoo tool to make the shape that covers the top part of the page and photo & added Mommyish's Stylin' 181 Half Tone Vellum style to it then i 'stamped' the solar system diagram from Paula's Night Sky on it and i added the galaxy paint and moon and all underneath the vellum to soften it. Because that wasn't 50% i added the polka vellum star and made a vellum journal label to get me over the line.
This was a fun challenge. After looking at all the beautiful layouts here, I think I'll be using vellum more often! I choose my grandson's chubby bum and a piece of vellum with a cloud on it. LOL Just for kicks

Thank you for the challenge. I wasn't aware of this effect and it is the first time that I used vellum overlay. The vellum is over the complete photo.
