Here's my spread. I design magazine pages so I used one of my own designs as inspiration. Page 1 Page 2 Inspiration:
It was so hard for me to keep this clean and simple, but I love the result! thanks for the challenge!
I love this style of page when other people do them but I struggle immensely doing them myself. This took hours but I loved the challenge.
There will be shadows in your photos - that is fine. But the photo itself must be flattened to the page. Also, if you choose to extract an image, for this challenge it would not be acceptable to then shadow that extraction. So, shadows within a photo or image on the page are fine, but the images themselves need to be flattened to the page. Does that make sense?
You don't need to post an inspiration page. I just included some in the challenge post to illustrate magazine layout design.
A cover is fine as long as it meets the requirements of the challenge - photos & text, a headline (could be magazine title) and no shadows.
This was sooooo out of my comfort zone, but I love the end result! January 7 - Magazine Inspiration Lilypad Mixed Media Monthly June 2016 template: Ambrosia by Sara Gleason title font: Sun Kissed
Thank you for hosting this challenge, Ashley. I gasped at the "no shadows" rule, and then realized it was easier that I thought it would be! Mine
