    Grid Photo Challenge

Layout created with Bella Gypsy's Llama Love collection
    https://the-lilypad.com/store/Llama-Llove-Bundle.html

I use Paintshop Pro so I had to modify the instructions a lot. I was able to create and use the grid as an overlay over the photo using the pen tool. Then I ended up cutting the photo into small rectangles, putting them back together (like puzzle pieces) before colorizing some of the rectangles. I used 3 colors: peach, pink and lavender for colorizing the rectangles. The layout has the original photo, a cropped portion of the original plus the colorized grid photo.

Note: I've updated my grid photo to better show the grid lines.

I used colors green, purple and blue. Interesting challenge, not something I would use in my scrapping.

Well, I was doing great until I tried to change the grid lines to white! Deleting the grid was best I could do, but I'll keep trying. If I am successful I'll update the gallery, but for now this is my version:

I don't use PS or GIMP, so I created my page differently- with the same effect, I hope!
I have the Original, Vintage, Charcoal drawing and a Watercolor all here on my photo

I'm not thrilled with it but here it is. I used green, blue, red & purple (although the purple does not show up much since it covers a largely black area).

This was very challenging to figure out (pse 19) but once I realized what I was doing wrong, It became much easier and I'm in love with how it turned out.
I used white color and then saturated with 2 shades of maroon and 1 shade of green. Thanks so much for a great challenge!

@IntenseMagic Jan, I love the idea of this challenge. It was a hard one though, both in technique :dizzy and thought; I didn't feel very creative-but the page is important so I did it. I had picked this photo before the challenge and before the news of Dad's changes came. A grid seemed appropriate for one whose life is becoming fragmented. :cry

Lower left- changed to grey. Upper right, changed to white, and the bright blue is third change.

I tried to it via the photokaboom guide and got stuck as well. Trying plan B. (when I figure that out). I never used the pencil tool. If I keep spinning my wheels I will give up. I am using PSE 2020. i do have 14-would that help?

This was way more fun than I anticipated and easier too. I admit I was scared when I saw it! Thanks for always pushing us to new limits. I will definitely use this again! My colors were blue, turquoise and pink.
