So much for not trying to do a page a day. Of course by the time I figured out I wanted to do yesterday's page it was far too late in the evening to get it finished, so ok fine I'll do a page every day and just run a day behind until I can figure out a way to catch up. Anyway ... one thing I'm already noticing is I have these grand visions for what the page should look like, and then I start actually putting it together and I wind up with something different. This one was supposed to be about my early holiday gifts, but then The Best Christmas Present in the World photobombed me (because the camera noise woke him up) and my philosophical page became more simple and heartfelt. I'm pretty sure this photo is the only one I have of us together (save the baby pics, of course), and that just makes it all the better.
I'm not doing numbered pages this year. I'm just telling stories. Some old, some new. This is a 6x8 hybrid double-page layout I did for my second story of the month.
