Wow, it's December already!!!... I can hardly believe how fast the year has flown by! December 1st brings on a new month of challenges here at the Lily Pad!! I am delighted to host the Scraplift challenge this month, and thought it would be wonderful to scraplift our own Julie (aka Mrs2a50). Julie is our champion and the MOC was her idea, so I thought it was only fitting that we scraplift Julie this month!! I really love Julie's clean and simple style, PLUS her way of letting her photos shine. Her photos themselves tell a lot of the story with minimal journaling too! That is why I thought it would be great to scraplift Julie and also be a perfect way of ending the monthly challenges for 2019! The challenge is real simple!! Peruse Julie's gallery, and choose a page to scraplift. Whichever page you pick to lift, have fun with it. I will say, it is going to be hard to choose a page to scraplift, as there is a multitude of gorgeous pages there!!! As I went looking through Julie's gallery, I found this lovely page of hers called My Favorite Color is Fall. I loved the clean and simple page design with all the white space, the cropping of the photo in the thin vertical frame, and all the wonderful word art. Here is Julie's page: And here is my page: (Please click on my page for credits noted in my gallery.) Remember our monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the December Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). I can't wait to see your scraplifted page, and see how Julie's gallery inspires you!
Thank you so much for this gorgeous challenge Christa and for inspiriation Julie - @cfile and @mrs2a50 I scraplifted this page: my page - same theme but I had the perfect photo - it is the view from our terrace on a winter morning
I am in awe of people like Julie that can do these awesome CAS layouts. ❤️ I'm more of an embellish overload kinda girl....
