I want to do it but thinking positively about everything else that might happen (like maybe packing to move all going well....) it might not quite work out this time.
Okay I've taken the plunge and registered... have no idea what I'm getting into or if I will finish but I guess I can try.
I'm so ready! I've completed all prior years & hoping 2020 is no exception! I have SO SO SO many more photos to scrap this go around!
I used Artisan 5 for years until July 2018. So I have been on PSE for a year and a half. Do you know about the PSE (and PSCC) group on FB for users coming from A5? Lots of links to tutorials and lots of help. And probably some names you might recognize.... In A5, the elements are central stage. You would select them and then decide what tool to use or what to do with them. In PSE/PSCC, the reverse it true (well sort of - it is easier if you select your layer first). When you pick up a tool it remains in your hand until you put it down. That takes awhile to get used to doing. For ex: the erase tool will keep on erasing even when you change layers (elements). You have to pick another tool to stop erasing. The Move tool is the best one to go back to when you are done. Oh, and the shortcut keys --- so many of them don't have a corresponding location on the menu bars. My favorites are Ctrl-J and Alt-drag. Both create copies of the element you are on. Hang in there - the blending and clipping capabilities are soooo worth it! And then there are styles and actions and brushes - swoon!
I registered and I think it submitted. It said I should keep a link to make adjustments but there was no link.
No, there won't be any retiring products prior to or during Month of Challenges. Our annual retirement sale is in March. I didn't get a link either for making adjustments, but at the top of that same message it said "We have received your registration." So unless you have to change some information, I wouldn't worry about it. If you do have a change in information, you can always let one of us know in the forum and we'll get it taken care of for you.
I’m SOOOO excited!!! It’ll be my first MOC in a few years that I’m not traveling or having a baby should be a cinch
I decided to try this year after just getting a new computer and not doing anything for quite awhile. I was in the middle of transferring everything, but thanks to several snow days, I completed the challenge. Hopefully I can in 2020 too, since I think I'm better prepared.
Yay! All registered for MOC8-- I think this will be my 6th MOC here, and I've finished all the ones I've started!
