    Hello everyone.

Our Polly hostess was unable to make the chat, so as we all wanted to scrap I put together some instructions for us to follow.
As I've no coupon codes to hand out, there is no set finish time for this challenge.
EDITED to add: There's a coupon code for all who complete the page by 2pm EST tomorrow (11/8/19) Thanks to Angela for stepping in!! I got off kilter by having more than one event this week (felt like we were good until next week and looking too much on the DYD planning we have in store for weekend of Nov 15). Anyway I forgot to post the ad or remind Cynthia about this slow scrap. Angela saved the day! THANK YOU!

I'm not a Photoshop scrapper, so if you need help with any of the steps, do post in and I'm sure someone else will help you out.

    Stretch your Stash
    1. Choose two papers - one solid and one patterned
    2. Place the patterned paper on top of the solid paper
    3. Apply a blending mode to the patterned paper to merge it with the solid one - experiment with the different blending modes and pick one.
Step 4. Choose a tag/doily or paper scrap, and a small element
Step 5. Using the element like a punch - cut a hole the shape of the element out of the tag/doily/paper scrap
    step5.jpg
Step 6. Add 3 of the element you chose earlier, and change the colour of 1 or 2 of them. I like to recolour mine using the HSL filter.
Step 7. add anything else you like to the page to make it something you love.

Please follow gallery rules when posting your layout, and share it in this thread so I can come leave you some love on it.

i played too - blended a Kim J Brushed Kraft paper using 'Darken' with a Becca polka paper from Seek Magic kit - and i hadn't yet got to use PRD's templates from Nov BYOC and when i saw the doily, i thought it would be a great base for this page - punched stars out and used them as a scatter so there's heaps more than asked for but consider me having added extra as part of the add whatever in Step 7 :blush

I'm happy that you did this, Angela! I couldn't join the chat yesterday, but I created a page!
I chose a a newspaper paper to blend to a creamy paper bachground, and my element to punch is a star!
    thanks for the inspiration!
