Here we go! We have another batch of books to read together. Yay! Like I've been doing the last couple of times, I am posting the next few months (October -February) all at once, so we can all get these books on hold at our libraries in time. The book we will be reading for October 2019 is The Couple Next Door by Shari Lapena. Please label spoilers or even type them in white like I just did right here(highlight that blank space) so that a person has to highlight it to read it. Just a note, anyone can read these books at any time and join in the discussion at any time too! The more the merrier!
Oh I LOVE when that happens. My library has it and I'm on hold... but I think I'm next in line so it shouldn't be too long for me either.
i'm about 3/4 of the way thru a book now and can start this when i'm done but with DSD and Halloween Bash both in Oct, i'll probably still be reading it way into Nov but i love that that our bookclub works regardless of when and how slow i am at getting to things!
I started this last night - far out, it's fast paced and i didnt want to put it down (but did )and have been feeling it this morning!
I'm making a bit of an effort to sort out my problems with reading, I just looked into Prime, this is £5 which isn't that much...but you mentioning the libraries reminds me I have to sort mine.... I probably owe them the maximum fine because so many books we didn't return in time when I started to get so unwell..... I'm writing a post it to sort it... and praying I will be able to read without going back 2 chapters every time I pick the book again!!! I may also get Bart The Fly next door!!!! (it will be a crime story, right? he remains un-kissed here
Really? I can't imagine forgetting this one any time soon but in general that's half the reason I use good reads!
okay I want to know....highlight>>>who saw the twist coming? Maybe not exactly what happened, but who had an inkling? And WHEN did you have that inkling? Early in the book, or later?<<<
