Unfortunately yesterday did not go as well as we had hoped at the Mayo Clinic. Additional lesions were found in the lungs and two "tiny" tumors were found in the abdomen. We finally got the diagnosis we've been dreading - Stage 4. My heart broke. They're still planning on doing a lung biopsy - probably the first week in October. They want to be sure what they're dealing with. They will be changing his chemo meds. Praying he gets a little energy back and no real side effects - other than being really tired he hasn't had too many side effects. Of course the first thing he told everyone was that he just needed to make it to May - their 50th wedding anniversary. I talked to my brother about my plans to throw them a party. Told my husband this morning too. Hoping for a snowy winter so hubby makes some good money and we can pay for the kind of party I want to throw them. All of your prayers and love are appreciated.
Oh no, Robyn! I'm so sorry that he got this news. I will definitely continue to pray! Sending ((HUGS)) and love.
