Hi everyone and welcome to the September Scraplift Challenge! This month, the challenge will involve heading over to the BLOG and finding a layout from one of the posts (there are over 238 pages to peruse) that you will scraplift. Fun, right? If you haven't been over to the blog before, you are in for a treat. It is always full of info, tips, ideas and, of course, tons of layouts to enjoy. The scraplift rule this month is to find a layout that was posted on the blog and scraplift it. Please include the layout you are scraplifting with your layout when posting here in this thread. That way, we can both your page and your inspiration. THE RULES: Find a layout on the blog to scraplift and include both layouts in your post here. My sample page was a scraplift from a travel page that KittyY created, found in the samples posted for the "Travel Themed Inspiration!" post on June 12, 2019. KittyY page: My page: Have fun and can't wait to see your pages! LILYPAD RULES: Please remember the regular monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the September Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
I found this one in the Feb spotlight blog post from @bbachand that I am going to lift And here's my page
I was inpsired by the same book cover Ashely WB was inspired by, so I guess my entry is doubly inspired?! My version: https://the-lilypad.com/forum/galleries/09-19_ashleywb_alaskagolf.403889/ Ashley's:
I used this page as my scraplift page/inspiration: Here is my layout: Sept Scraplift by rdutch posted Sep 1, 2019 at 7:23 PM
I'll be scraplifting this layout by Lori (lcpereyra) from the June 3, 2019 blog article entitled June Challenges. and here's my version (somewhat simpler with added photos)
I really love dvhoward's art (She was an inspiration before I stopped scrapping so now that I'm slowly getting back into it, I had to choose something of hers). Diane was a featured TLP Member so I will scrap the layout below that was featured then:
I liked the vintage look of this one by @Cherylndesigns and made this one from an old, very dark slide. I did want the brilliant flowers to show as well as my then husband's purple tie which I'd made!
This was a great article about textured white backgrounds! I chose her layout to lift: And here is mine!
