On a spending freeze

    As for me, I've been in that situation (spending freeze) and still watched new releases so I could load up my wish list for times of big sales (NSD/DSD etc) or birthday money etc. Then there are usually gift with purchases or buy more/get more going on. If it's not a big sale time, take advantage of the monthly challenges when you do plan to spend...and you can earn up to 30% off coupons. By using my wishlist I didn't feel like it was gone. I knew where it was later if I still wanted it. Sometimes I found by resisting the impulse initially I had a change of heart about what I really needed or wanted anyway.

    well without really thinking much of it - in the past two months I've only spent $6.75 on top of my two Just Jaimee Storyteller subscription payments so maybe I'm doing a bit better on the old spending than I thought I was
