I was inspired by the shoes, the cluster, and the double frame on this one by Sheri: And here's mine:
I lifted Karen's page Autumn Walks: And this is mine: https://the-lilypad.com/forum/galleries/tarvisio-scraplift-august-19.402748/
This is the page I lifted: I learned so much about shadowing and layering by trying to duplicate @SeattleSheri page. Here is my take:
Karen, I love your clean pages and will definitely be haunting your gallery, but for what I want to do I need "STUFF" and Sheri definitely uses "STUFF", so this is the one I will be going with, and probably adding a bit more to my layout. Well, I ended not adding much more stuff cause I liked it just the way Sherri's looked. Here's my layout. I flipped it just to add my personal touch.
I seriously love the work of both KarenB and SeattleSheri, and had a hard time choosing…In the end, I decided to lift a beautiful page by KarenB, because her stylish minimalism is very different from my usual mode, and I really wanted to challenge myself to do something different… My inspiration: My scraplift:
I absolutely love Sheri’s style so am off to figure out which one I’ll lift and get my page done in the morning.
I lifted this page by Sheri. I started with the tilt, 3 photos, 3 paper mats under photos, finding some lace, a large number to add to the left side and then it just went from there. Sheri's page My page
Love both Karen B and Sheri's styles and both speak to me (i love clean and i also like 'stuff') but i ultimately went with this page by Sheri to lift because of the photo reminded me of this similar one I took of DD - i made sure to also get layers and butterflies and flowers and doodles and stitching and paint in there as well Sheri's page My version
