July Inspiration Challenge

here's mine :

my inspiration : the diamond shapes on the bowl and the colors

thank you for this challenge

 

I was inspired by the mustard yellow color with a bit of the red-orange. I used a circle photo as well as some messy string.

I was inspired by the yellow & orange colors, the strings, & the diamond shape.

 

Inspired by the half circle at the bottom of the page, the orange and green.

 

I used circles. And I was going to use a sunburst paper but before I could find it, I found these wavy lined papers from Allison Pennington, which are reminiscent of messy string and felt suitable for my wild family. I blended it with some blue paper with words on it, and I lowered the opacity of the wavy paper so it wouldn't be so harsh. And I used a lot of yellow and orange, and a little green, like the photos. I even went as far as changing ONE color in the border overlay, from a pinkish/purplish color to orange.

Also my page is well seasoned with scatters, just like the yummy-looking food in the photos.

 

I used the colors and circles as inspiration.

 

I was inspired by the 4 quadrant layout of the photos, the circles and partial circles, and the colors.

Orange, white, grey, turquoise/teal
Squares, circles and the flowers in the paper reminded me of the way the carrots are displayed

 

I was inspired by the warm oranges and all the curves and circles. The moving lines in the upper left hand picture of meet helped me put together this collage, using the curved lines to mimic those in the food picture. Fun challenge!
