While my kitchen has been reorganized as much as you can with a 7' stone topped island for a hospital bed, we are both home and learning bit by bit to live with the new life we have. When I was in Newfoundland, others asked me if I was anxious to go home but I couldn't fully explain that neither of us have lived in this home - as it is now - and as our life is now. Today is my first day on "driving duty" to the first doctor's appointment. But it's all good, just new good! Below is our friend Kevin who drove Dick and his stuff home yesterdayand our cross the street neighbor Marilyn. #lookforthehelpers

So glad that Dick is home and you are both adjusting to a "new normal." Praying for good days and special memories of this time together.

So glad you're both home and are starting your new normal! (Also, your Canada photos are so gorgeous!)
I do hope I can manage to do a lot of the monthly challenges with them before I jump into a Newfoundland book!
Maureen, I am so pleased to read your current news. Looks like you have good neighbors and friends to help. I hope you and Dick settle in and adjust to all that needs to be happening in your lives right now.
