The background paper reminded me of the roasted carrot sticks so I used that for one inspiration and the second thing that inspired me was the shredded meat. I used torn paper pieces for that!
I was inspired by the color palette. I liked the tea/coffee stained background and it reminded me of warm comfort food. Then as I thought of food, I thought of this picture of my brother when he was a toddler stealing a graham cracker at Gramma's house. Voila - an inspiration that looks little like the original, but it was my inspiration!
What a inspiring challenge; I so enjoyed this challenge! I was drawn towards the blue from the bowl, so I went with that color, and rectangle sized photo and tan mat(with the world map cut out) taken from the shape of the food photos and continued on with my creation from there. Here be mine:
thanks Rae! i loved the orange and especially how it goes with the teal bowl in the bottom right pic and this kit was perfect for those colours, and the pull apart chicken texture/shape i represented with the netting falling over the page
I got hungry looking at the inspiration page, so I guess you can say all 4 photos, also circles and colour.
I used inspiration of the orange colour and the circles of the meatballs. I also picked the paper because it reminded me of the soup. Eye Candy
Thanks Rae!! What an awesome challenge... I loved playing this morning!! Inspiration: Orange-yellow paint colors, a salad, circles, a rectangle photo and messy threads
I was inspired by the circles = stitched foundation layer, the scallops thanks to Cheryl's awesome template, and the yellow and greens from the food photos. Great challenge.
Well I was inspired to do a layout about food (even though none is pictured on my layout), by the greens with a touch of the golden tone of the soup.
