This is a portrait of my 11 year-old who really does have a great deal of interest in caring for plants. Her life goal is to become a farmer (kinda weird for a suburban kid with no roots in farming, at all). We got this free sapling and decided to let it get a bit bigger before we plant it in its permanent home.
