I have a secret to tell... I always looks forward to the summer months because the scrapbooking products that come out, especially the BYOC collections tend to be filled with brighter colors and they just make me so happy to play with! As scrapbookers, I'm sure we all have our favorite colors and are drawn towards things with our favorite colors. So this month, I would like you to draw inspiration from COLOR! Pick one color and tell a story about that color and why you love it or even hate it. Create a layout about your favorite color, or about a bold color choice you picked to paint a room in your house. Tell a story about a prominent color in your wardrobe. Anything you'd like based on one color. Here is a layout I created about my quest to find a perfect pink nailpolish after getting my nails done at a salon about a year ago with the prettiest pink nailpolish I've ever worn. I can't wait to see your layouts about color! As always, please remember the regular monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the June Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day, the first Friday of the month. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
How funny! I'm not the first to choose black! https://the-lilypad.com/forum/galleries/06-19_color_black_gavin-helmet.396631/
um... I don't have a 'favorite' color, am more a 'neutrals' kinda gal however, as Spring has been unseasonably delayed here in the mountains of Pennsylvania, I chose Spring Green
