We are seriously rolling through this year! How can it be June already? I love being 'round The Lilypad & I'm really excited to bring you our half-way through the year Style Challenge! So, let's get the ball rolling... We're scrapping on circles! The circle is one of my favorite shapes. I recognize so much we do or experience in life seems to come full circle. The shape represents completion & beginning for me. With a circle, I love that the line never loses its connection. Keep connection in mind, this month.Your challenge is to scrap a page with a large circle. This circle should take up at least 2/3 of your page. Everything else on the page needs to be connected to the circle in some way. 1) A circle must take up 2/3 of your page. 2) This can be a partial circle, but no less than half a circle. 3) Everything scrapped on the page must be connected/attached to the circle. This includes any journaling you may have. (Journaling is not required.) Here's a page I made using Val's new collab. Gentle Reminder: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the June Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
I love the circle idea! Liked it with MOC, and happy to do it again. Some great pages here already- which I "liked"!
I played too, I have so many cut-file style circle pages pinned, it was my immediate idea for this challenge & I've used this butterfly circle cut-file of Liz's a few times now & still love it! (the mottled purple painty background is by Paula in the M3 kit in my credits)
