On Wednesdays, I am honored to start a Pad Patter thread in our amazing forum. I love to start them on things happening right here in my little world. Sometimes it is a question, sometimes it is a mystery to my brain, and many times it is just things that bug me, and make me wonder.
Over the past few months, some of the posts have turned into good news and become change in a good way.

    First, my SAMSUNG refrigerator!

This thing was a monthly breakdown. We had a warranty, and woot, yesterday, our brand new fridge was delivered! I love it. The old one, they let us keep it. It ices up on the deli tray, so I took it out, and it is now in our patio. (we had an old one there, and it is being cleaned today, and sold)

Another why so many forms pad patter post was answered! My son brought home this flyer:

this is huge! I will be able to register both boys, ONLINE! Going to two different schools, and the package of forms is ridiculous. The middle school is very unorganized, so I get frustrated. I am all signed up already, and now, just have to check in online!

So, have you had some wins (victories) in your life!? I want to get all happy along with you! Share!

A job interview on Friday is a big win in my book but other than that no real wins happening here - just trying to get through to June 4th/5th when I have my sleep study at the specialists office and get a CPAP machine

Love the designers I get to create for here at The Lilypad- makes me a winner for sure. Regardless of what the rand does against the mighty dollar.
Also scrapping and getting things done is winning in my book.
I know many folk that would love to have the albums and layouts that I have to document our lives.

My niece was born today. That's a win because my brother and SIL didn't find out what they were having. Brother wanted a boy but I said it would be a girl, which would be their third. And it was a girl so I was right. Winning! LOL. But all jokes aside, the real win/blessing is another healthy baby in the family after a pretty tough pregnancy for her.

And today I got through my first subbing job at the middle school. Phew! That is a total win!

The A/C in my van went out just as the 90+ temperatures arrived. After a hot weekend, we got it repaired and they only charged us labor as the part was under warranty. Yay!!! And just in time for the 96+ temperatures this weekend. Summer is here.

    I love all these wins!!
I got my mother of the groom dress ordered *win* now we hope it fits when it arrives!
I only have 2 IEP meetings for the year to go *win*!
I decided not to retire at the end of this year because we were expecting a raise for the first time in like 7 years, and my retirement is based on our 3 highest paid years of service. I found out this week that I am getting a 6.3% raise for next year *WIN*

I can't think of any directly for myself, but my son got his driver's permit on Tuesday and I let him drive my brand new car home from the Secretary of State and he did great and my car is still in one piece! :giggle I call that a win! It's so weird and exciting all wrapped into one that my first born child is old enough to be learning to drive! It's also pretty amazing to see him growing into a responsible young man. On Monday he decided to walk a mile down the road and apply for a job for the summer. He's only 15 and for him, as an pretty shy guy, to do that all on his own, made me so proud! WIN!

Oh and the 13 year old was asked to make a presentation to a grant selection committee of high school kids last month. He partnered with another girl at his school and make a really awesome Google slides presentation to show why their school would benefit from a grant to purchase new water fountains in their school and he found out yesterday that they got the grant! He worked really hard on his presentation, so it was great for him to see the fruits of his labors and be proud of himself for earning something for his school. :)

My daughter has been driving a couple of weeks now. It's so crazy! Here in California they have to have a behind the wheel lesson with an instructor before they can drive with a parent so it was nice to have someone else in the car with her the first time. Haha! She has driven to school every morning and I see improvement every day. :)

Yeah we have a similar program here. He had four 1 hour drives with an instructor and two hours on a closed road course to practice parking and stuff. I was happy to let my son practice with their car first! Ha ha!

    Ha! Definitely!

She drove my husband's truck for the first time the other day. She was so nervous. This was her face:

She has really only driven my car. I have an Explorer so nothing small but being behind the wheel in her dad's large truck overwhelmed her at first. She did good though! The real test will be driving with her dad. She's only been with me.

I had to laugh today because I actually said to my DH "that's a win" - totally thinking of this discussion. We're moving next Tuesday and would you believe they're not leaving their washer/dryer? We've been looking for a good (used) set - we didn't want to lay the money out right now for new ones, on top of all the other moving expense. Anyway, we keep finding them, only to find out they're already sold. DH called me today and said he found a matching set and they would deliver them to our new house! One more thing to mark off our to-do list. WIN!!!

Right now my win is that even though all our air conditioners have been tested and work, we haven't needed to use any of them in the daytime - yet! I see a good electric bill ahead for May!!! Win win as our solar panels are collecting energy and last month our bill was down $200! YAY!

Where are you going @Cherylndesigns ???? yes, I'm a nosy parker!

We're staying in Ft. Myers, Maureen. We're moving about 20 minutes away to a bigger house. Our DD and GS are officially moving in with us and we just needed more room. We're doubling the size of our house. Asher is almost 8 and needs his own room, so now he and Steph will have their own rooms and they'll have their own bathroom.
