Ok so I didn't actually win the lottery but it feels like it. A good friend of mine bought a Cricut Explore Air 2 machine and couldn't figure out how to use it. so she called me

I had never used one before but after a few quick video tutorials I showed her how to use it. I was so excited to play with one and she was still very confused by it all.

So what does this have to do with winning the lottery?? Well - after more step by step instructions on how to use it she asked if I wanted it instead. She said I was having WAY more fun that she ever would. I bought it from her for a fraction of the cost as that's all she would accept from me (I was saving up to buy one).

Do you have a Cricut machine? What do you use yours for? Is it on your wish list or are you like my friend and wouldn't know how or what to do with it?

All weekend I was busy making so many little fun crafts and learning activities for the kids. Hubby is excited I can now design and make shirts. I have a feeling I'll be doing a bunch of hybrid projects now.

No Cricket, but I have a Silhouette that I haven’t used in years.

    Do you want it?

I had a silhouette, also sold it for a fraction of what I paid for it.
    Enjoy your blessing!

Thanks. I run a home daycare so I'm super excited about not having to cut out all the craft activities by hand.

I made these up for my friend's daughter this afternoon while the kids were napping. Just a little thank you gift :)

Woot woot! Enjoy your new toy! Did you make a Thank You card to give your friend lol? :) I have a silhouette but I haven't taken it out recently. Sounds like you're already in the groove with your Cricut. Just the other day I was thinking I should "customize" a shirt for my son's school. I want to out "volunteer" on the back so other teachers know why I'm there (so I'm not confused as a sub, which I've started doing).

I would use mine a whole lot more if I had a dedicated space for it. But, I have to pull it out and pack it up each time I use it and that's just too much work. lol

I had one a very long time ago. I rarely used it so I traded it to my SIL for an iPad. She has since replaced it with a newer version and makes all kinds of things. She likes to use vinyl and monogram everything.

It was a great tool for cutting out items for cards, etc.

    So fun!! Enjoy it!
I have a Silhouette that I use all the time, but most of it is not scrapping related LOL I do cut stickers and things for my planner a few times a month, but it gets used most often for cutting vinyl decals for other people.

Have used one, but don't have either. Yes, on the wish list. Can't imagine making space in my studio, though LOL!

So fun! I hope you enjoy it. I have a Silhouette, but since I don't really paper scrap anymore I find myself using it more often for the kids' school projects than anything else. I did cut some fabric on it once to make t-shirts for a Disney trip.

That's so awesome! What a great lottery win for you! :giggle I have a Silhouette and I use that thing ALL the time. I love it to bits. I'm going to cry if it ever quits working, but of course I have definitely gotten my $99 out of that thing like 10 times over!
