I tried doing a search in the forum and I don't think I'm using the correct keywords.

I cannot remember how to save a layout so it's sized properly for the gallery :( is there a thread for CC that has the How to Save for the Gallery Step by Step for Dummies :think

I don't know if there's instructions here or not, but I am DELIGHTED to see you back!!!! :)

I use CC and I usually use the
Export > Save for Web (Legacy options and then change the size to 700x700 and as long as the file size is lower than 250KB then I save.

I'm with Kiana - so glad to see your face 'round the parts (I feel like I should insert a yee-haw after typing that LOL).

Anyway, I have a Save For Web action freebie: http://www.fiddle-dee-deedesigns.com/p/save-4-web-freebee.html

So after running the action, I'll go through these steps:

FILE > EXPORT > SAVE FOR WEB (LEGACY) [note: I made my own keyboard shortcut so I could click two characters and get to the SAVE FOR WEB]

When the dialog box opens, I'll click on the horizontal lines/hamburger at the top right and choose OPTIMIZE TO FILE SIZE and enter 250 KB. Then choose SAVE.

If you don't run the action before these steps, when you get to the dialog box that opens, you'll need to save your pixel dimensions to 600x600 or 700x700 or 800x800, whatever you prefer, and then optimize for your file size. :)

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Timmi!
I can't remember where I posted it here, but I made this video last year to help someone save for web in CC. It's the same steps still. I love the automated actions though! Save for web starts at 0:59.

Sometimes you have to take time to take care of you. I'm glad you did that.

But oh-so-very happy that you are back to hang out, my friend!
