iNSD Slow Scrap Monday 5/6 at 10AM EDT *Closed*

    Come join us for another iNSD slow scrap!!! Let's have some fun as we create our page!! :yippee


    [I will be posting the instructions here as we chat.]

    Information:
    Challenge closes at 11 am EDT on Tuesday, May 7th.


    Your page should be new and made exclusively for this challenge. It should not be submitted for any other challenge/game. All who complete a page, should post the page in the gallery here at TLP, which means it needs to comply with gallery rules.

    Gallery Rules:
    Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed. Please post the gallery link or linked image in the thread for this scrap. Layouts must be posted by Tuesday May 7 at 11am EDT to be eligible for prize. Prizes will be distributed after the iNSD sale, as coupons are not valid during store-wide sales.

    Instructions for the slow scrap:
    Clean & Simple Scrap
    1) 1 photo
    2) 1 plain solid paper as bg
    3) 2 patterned papers (size=jc) or 2 jc as mattes under photo
    4) 1 splatter of paint (or transfer) underneath photo & mattes
    5) 2 scatters/sequins/beads + 8 Additional elements (your choice & please note them in your description)
    6) Title/date/journaling (at least 1 line)
    7) finish off by adding shadows & a border if you would like. (my border is a stroked line)

    Going to set my alarm, although not sure if I'll be home or not. No school today, and no work for hubby today either due to it being the Mayday Bank Holiday. We might go out to a MayDay event, not sure yet as the weather is unpredictable.

    My 8 additional items are . . .
    1. the leaves
    2. label
    3. leaf cutout
    4. pink button
    5. blue flower
    6. black ribbon (on blue flower)
    7. yellow flower
    8. red heart (on yellow flower)

    The scatters are the white hearts on top of the photo and the flower petals and stuff in the lower left.

    Note! That tag under the blue journal card is part of the paint element, as are those red hearts!

    I missed another chat!! I'm so disappointed it was such a busy weekend (and now a work day) and that I wasn't able to get any scrapbooking done. Hoping to work on something over lunch and again tonight...

    Thanks for hosting, Christa! I hope you don't mind that I used a word strip (above my photo) for the title as well as did a bit of journaling to the left of the photo.

    2 splatters plus 8 additional elements:
    1) film strip
    2) grass
    3) flower
    4) leaves
    5) butterfly
    6) button
    7) butterfly word strip
    8) vine with small leaves

    Aww thanks so much Christa!! I was a tad surprised at how achy I was just walking. You don't realize how much you swing your arms. lol

    Yup re the achy... there are gremlins inside us that just make all the muscles hurt.. i have that daily lol... my sciatica is affecting everything! Feel better.. glad you could scrap.. going to comment on your page now :)

    thank you for the chat and scrap Christa. I'm not entirely convinced this turned out as clean and simple, but here's my heritage layout. I don't find these easy to do, but it came together fairly quickly.

    2 floral clusters
    2 rows of stitching
    1 row doodled squares

    Hearts and tube beads were the scatters and the 8 extra items are:
    Tape measure, string, foliage, 2 different flowers, watering can, butterfly and bow. Thanks for the chat and scrap.
