    Thank you so much for playing along in the March challenge I LOVED all of your pages and I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to get this wrapped up and to jump into April!

    April 2019 Challenge
    Each month I host a different Mixed Media Challenge :byay

    This month we are following a fun recipe to create your layout!

    Simply follow this recipe list to create your page and have lots of fun with your muse :)

    • A Textured White Paper as your background paper
    • A Paint Splatter
    • At least 2 other paint elements, this could also be an overlay that includes some paint
    • At least 2 paperie elements like snippets, collaged papers, torn paper, bits of cardboard etc.
    • At least two stamps of some sort
    • At least one fastener like a staple or piece of tape or stitching
    • A Photo with some texture or grunge treatment (I duplicated my background paper and used part of it as a clipping mask with a blend mode and also clipped some paint to it)
    • A Word Art/Word Bit or spot of journaling

    Challenge Requirements:
    • Challenge layouts must use 100% of Rachel Jefferies Designs currently available at my TLP store (Collaborations including my Mixed Media Monthly Subscription Kits and Add Ons are also ok!)
    • Upload your layout to the Rachel Jefferies Designs Gallery at TLP
    • Please also reply to this thread for your challenge entry to be counted, with the image of your finished layout linked to the gallery.
    • No double dipping for other challenges, I'd like to see brand new pages
    • The challenge will be open through the 19th May and I'll pick a random participant to win a $10 coupon to my shop.
    • It would be helpful when posting your page in this thread that you note you are eligible for the New Release Bonus Entry and you make a note of which April 2019 New Release you used. This would make it faster for me cross checking all the entries when making the random draw for winners!

    It feels great to scrap with fresh new releases, if you are scrapping with a product released during April 2019 you'll bag yourself a bonus entry for an extra chance to win a coupon should you not be the $10 coupon winner.     I used the April 2019 M3 Main Kit as my New Release (paper under pic & blue paint).
    I used both a word art and journaling - hope that is okay.

    Full credits are in the gallery, but I grunged up my picture by adding "Noise" and then using a text overlay on top.

    Here's my take on the recipe. Such fun! I used a gray, stenciled paper as a clipping mask with the blending mode of Overlay on the photo.

    Here's mine. It was fun! Hope it was okay I used 2 stamps from Saffron, an old kit you did as Captivated Visions.

    So, I reread the rules and it has to be 100% current products, so I redid it:

    I give up. Found another kit I just bought isn't in the store. What happened to the "storm will pass." I guess I'm not eligible. Two times is enough for me. I'm out.

    Okay after sleeping on it, I did it a 3rd time with all current products. Sigh....

    Thank You! For The Challenge...I Actually Started Out With 2 Different Layouts In Mind & Ended Up With This One...It Actually Took Me A Great Deal Of Time To Finish This One...I Followed The Recipe As Indicated In The Rules...But Upon Finishing...I'm Not Sure If This Layout Will Qualify Since I Used A Few Pieces From "Sacred Time For Ourselves" Which Was A "Love Our Designer" Mini That Was Given Away...But Either Way...I'm Gonna Post My Layout Here Just The Same...Perhaps I Will Make Another Down The Road...

    *I Applied A Posterize Effect To The Photo To Amp Up The Texture & Depth & To Make It Look More Painterly In Relation To The Painted Background Paper...

    *For My Blossoming Layout-I Used:

    *Poisson:Mixed Media Artistry/Fa La La La La & Sacred Time For Ourselves-Rachel Jefferies

    O.K....I'm Back...You Knew I Would Be,Right?...I Couldn't Just Let It Go...Ha! Ha!..I Had Another Photo & I Had Another Idea That I Just Had To Scrap...You Know What I Mean?...An Idea That Just Had To Be Scrapped Right Away...And This Time I Know It Qualifies For The Challenge Per All The Rules...And I Believe My Layout Also Qualifies For The Bonus New Release For April Entry...I Only Used One Kit & It Was The BYOC Release For April!...I Have Scrapped A Few Layouts With This Wonderful Kit Already!...So Here's One More...

    *As Per The Rules:I Applied A Slight Posterize Effect To The Layout Photo To Give It A Bit More Definition & A Slightly More Grungy Look...
