This month’s journaling challenge is all about comfort food. Whether you’re still recovering from Thanksgiving or eager to start planning your menu for the holidays you can’t deny that for most people, this time of year is very food-centric. In fact, I think I may have gained a few pounds just writing this post! For this challenge all you have to do is journal at least 3 lines about a food (or drink) that brings you comfort or joy. It can be any food or drink that is special to you. It doesn’t have to be for a certain holiday or season. You can talk about why it is comforting to you, how you go about making the dish or drink, when you eat it, who you eat it with ... or if you don’t make it yourself who does: a restaurant or someone special to you? I would love to see a photo of your special “comfort food” but it is not a requirement. And to help you out - we have so many diverse kits in the store catering to food layouts, this may help you find them: Food Kits Here is my page with my family's comfort food - vegetarian pot pies. The Rules : Journal at least 3 lines about a food or drink that brings you comfort or joy. As always, please remember our monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the December Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). Can't wait to see your comfort food pages!
