It's that time again! It's almost a brand new year, so it's time to suggest some books to read together for the new year

Anyone can make a suggestion and I'll keep track of them here. Once we get 10 recommendations, I'll start a new thread to vote on the top four.

Let's keep it to one suggestion per person for now because when I do the poll I can only have 10 choices...

I will keep this thread open until December 10th or until we get 10 recommendations to vote on. Sound good?

So... what should we read together in 2019?

    1. Social Creature by Tara Isabella Burton
    2. Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty
    3. Whisper Me This by Kerry Ann King
    4. Elizabeth is Missing by Emma Healey
    5. Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
    6. The Map of Salt and Stars by Jennifer Zeynab Joukhadar
    7. Becoming by Michelle Obama
    8. The Diary of a Bookseller by Shaun Bythell
    9. True Places by Sonja Yoerg
    10. The Last Days of Night by Graham Moore

I've got this one on hold at my library, for sometime in the new year. Looks good.

My internet is extremely spotty right now so no pic, but how about Liane Moriarty's new book, Nine Perfect Strangers? I'm about 8 chapters into it and enjoying it. (That's another reason I'm suggesting it: I don't have to wait for my digital library's hold cuz I just bought it. I can actually be a part of the discussion here! :) )

You'll love it, Karen! I'm on her third book - "I Wish You Happy" - loved - and I'm currently reading "Closer Home".

I've checked my TBR list recently and saw I have added this one about a year ago. I really want to get to this in 2019, and I'm sure, as readers, more then just me would be interested!
