Hey y'all! I've been working in my 2016 December Daily album, trying to get it completed. Here are the few that I've completed over the weekend. I'll also post a link to a YouTube playlist with other Christmas layouts included as well. I'll update this first post as I continue working in my album. I hope these inspire you to finish up your incomplete albums as well! Watch Cheryl Scrap Christmas Playlist on YouTube
Those are some amazing layouts Cheryl! I will check the videos later when on computer. Thanks for sharing
I have one final layout that I finished in July, but didn't get the video uploaded until today. And no, my 2016 album is NOT finished. LOL I will continue to plod along with it. At least I'm closer than I was before!
Wow, awesome work! This makes me excited for the Holidays but then I'm sitting here in August loving the laziness of summer.
@meterr I'm DEFINITELY ready for cooler weather, but NOT ready for Christmas yet. I don't mind scrapping about it, but the whole present buying thing . . . I'm just not ready!
@gonewiththewind I too would love the fall weather more than this heat, but I like my son home from school for summer. I LOVE being snowed in and snuggling up to stay warm! This year has just gone so darn fast, Id like to slow it down a bit!
Cheryl - you are stunning in this layout! Just beautiful! I so relate to your journaling. I live with chronic pain too and see a pain doctor an hour away from my house once a month. I've been making that trek for 15 years. It does wear you down in every way. Your positivity and joy, especially when you don't feel that inclination, is an inspiration to me. Keep rocking your pages and your life. I think you're amazing!
Thank you, Margaret! This layout documents December 2016 . . . before I had my spinal cord stimulator surgery in Sept 2017. That was a rough Christmas. 2017 was better but I was still recovering from surgery. This year has been AWESOME compared to previous years. I will always have problems, and that's really hard to accept BUT I'm enjoying the pain relief while I have it! You are an inspiration as well . . . always positive, always smiling in your photos, always sharing a kind word. I know you've found the gift of seeking the good in the midst of bad . . . wishing you a very happy end to this year and a pain free 2019!
