I've loved reading thru this thread, so many fun questions and loved reading the replies. I sure am hungry now with all the "taco" talk. This reminds me that I promised hubs that he could have tacos this week. Maybe tomorrow.
YOU DON"T LIKE TACOS?! Elisa- other than my vegetarian daughter, you are the only person I have ever heard say that! Now, I did see an ice cream shop near me is selling ice cream tacos-- would you go for that?
This is hilarious .... we could eat tacos everyday! I have no idea who the new designer is, but im excited! welcome!
My 1st guess is Lauren Reid. My 2nd guess is Michelle Godin/Quirky Hearts, though I can’t remember if she had children. Hmmm.... PS...Welcome back to The Pad family!!!
This is such a fun thread. And appetizing. So I read the idea you might be a returning designer, that you might have been at TLP before. I have such a bad memory, and also I've only been active here since the end of 2015. So I'm wondering, if you are a returning designer, would your departure have been before or after my arrival here?
I'm trying to push through the day with a migraine...so I apologize if this has already been asked. Do you kits lean more towards artsy, cutesy or realistic?
You guessed right!! I'm so thrilled to be back here at TLP, my home!! For those that don't know me, I have been digital scrapbooking since 2005 and designing since 2008. I designed at We are Storytellers back in the day and moved to The Lilypad for most of my designing career. Back in 2014 I took a design break and got a full time job here in Idaho. After 3 years of that I decided I missed being creative too much so I resigned so I could focus on my graphic designing. Over the last year I have been designing for Becky Higgins and her Project Life brand and even had my big dream come true of designing my first "in print" kit, Project 52 RAD that came out at the beginning of the year. As you can guess, I love tacos, but donuts come a close second. I love exploring outdoors with my family, binge watching the Office/Gilmore Girls/Parenthood while I'm designing, and decorating my home. I have a wonderful husband and 3 great kids and live in Idaho where there's more cows than people. I'm excited to get back into designing here at The Lilypad and I'm excited to meet those of you I don't know yet!!
Welcome back Emily! L is for Lion was one of the first kits I bought at TLP! Such a cute kit - can't wait to see what new things you come up with!
