oh yes, i know this feeling- sometimes it comes down to me having clicked and dragging poorly when i copy and paste things and put them in the wrong folder, so i may end up with LynnG things in my Lynne-Marie designer folder because i dragged 'wrong' if that makes sense. hope you found what you were looking for!

on my file names i use yy-mm-dd, so it lines up right

@Cath_ its for advertising purposes so it has to be the correct way otherwise I would use the date convention I know

Nope, nope, nope ;-) Like Cath I often use eg 20230304 for file names so they are listed in order but otherwise ... nope! Even after years it still doesn't come naturally to use that format, as someone from Europe and NZ :-)

(does it not auto save? or recover? that was the feature that made me go from PC CS4 to PS CS6 (which i still use) so i would of thought that functionality would be carried fwd into newer versions)

@bellbird it did auto recover luckily, I just didn't know it would in the middle of the crash. With my previous laptop even if the functionality was there my system was so unstable it ended up not recovering anything
