Oh no, I'm so sorry!! Hopefully it was caught early and she has a successful treatment plan. Life is just so unfair sometimes. Sending lots of positive energy your way!

I'm so sorry to hear this! I hope this was an early diagnosis and her treatment goes smoothly and successfully! You'll be in my thoughts - I'm sure they are discussing familial genetic cancer testing, but if not you should ask for it. If she has CDH1 she should also be monitored for risk for breast cancer as she gets older. My heart goes out to you and her dad too (((hugs)))

do you use it a lot? I realized after 2 or 3 meals, that it doesn't do what I thought, it is to small for me to seal meat or fry veggies before closing the lid, so I have to go to the stove, for the time it saved me, it wasn't worth it :(

I thought so.... here at the moment is so expensive, we are waiting a while... we did same with Wicked, first time we went was 2 years after opening...it was still expensive but the disabled discount started counting after the first year :)

It wasn't cheap, but it was our Christmas present to ourselves and our kids. Then the kids paid for dinner. Turned out to be a really nice night.

@AnneofAlamo, my favorite actions - Title builder by Anna Forrest (maybe still available at her Etsy Store), A save for web action by a retired designer; an accordion flower maker by another retired designer that I used to CT for; and an action from Persnickety Prints that splits a 12x24 layout in half. (still available somewhere on their blog) Luckily for me, I saved all of those in a safe place.

I just read about a woman who used a Slinky (yup, the toy!) to keep squirrels out of her bird feeder. She looped it around the pole and the squirrles can't figure out how to climb it and it freaks them out. Anyway, maybe that'd work for you? You can Google "Slinky bird feeder" to see all the ways people have tried this. And as others have said, thanks for the giggle!

You'd be surprised to know that there are a lot of song lyrics about squirrels! lol
