the kit she chose is not TLP, it's old one by a retired designer I used to CT for.

Beads, matchbox cars, a few LEGO pieces (there are even tutorials for small sets: I put a few in my DD's one year so she could build a little Christmas tree and an ornament), a small notepad, a dime, a quarter, small craft supplies so that they could use 2 or 3 day's worth to "make" something. A bookmark or a book. A yo yo, top, or other small toy.

Ticket for a movie night at home. New pen/pencil/crayon.

I say make the Christmas Presents... after you make them if there is glitter r anything like that, you would have to re clean, so make the Christmas presents first :) Sorta like eating dessert first :) do the enjoyable stuff.. there is always time to clean later !

i would say statistically i clean on about 90+% of the days in the year, christmas stuff can be claimed on a relatively small portion of days so i would always claim them where possible :D
