It's such a beautiful week in England. There is an arctic blast and it's been snowing off and on since Monday. I don't see much snow in Texas and I love winter and snow. I got out briefly on Monday to get some groceries and got a little video. (https://www.instagram.com/kat_tank/)

Today it's coming down in big and small flurries. I've been a bit ill so I am not sure if I'll go outside to play in the snow but if I do, I'll share more pictures.

:) Snow is fun for one day.. then you want to wake up in the morning to it being gone :) Can't wait to see your photos and pages!!

I'm more like bring it on and give us a few days or a week of it. It's so beautiful. I was secretly hoping my husband would get a snow day or two. So far it's just enough to be considered flurries off and on with some heavy snow mixed in but not more than an inch sticking (if that). Tomorrow and Friday are the 80-90% chances so I am hoping we get a few inches. I only wish we had a fireplace in this flat.

If you are close enough, take a walk later on down to one of the local pubs.. I am sure a lot of them have fireplaces in them :) I loved that when we were in the UK seeing those.. of course both times I have been there it was'nt cold enough. Enjoy the winter wonderland :) I bet in England with all the old buildings it will look like a Courier and Ives painting :)

Oh!!!! Enjoy your snow!!! I so love snow and icicles and the cold. As long as I can stay warm it's all okay!

I hope you get to feeling better soon, too. No fun not feeling well.

I LOVE the snow. That said, it's always best in moderation. We had 4-5 feet over the course of 6 weeks last year, and I was completely and entirely sick of it by then. This year, nothing. And I miss it.

Enjoy!

This fellow Texan/Anglophile is so jealous, Kat! I'll live vicariously through you...lol. Love your new avatar pic - BTW!

We have a small amount of snow in our part of England at the moment. Some areas that have it heavy this time, didn't have any when we did in December. The snows coming from a different direction. Enjoy the snow Kat, we don't often get it.

I'm really happy for you and even more happy it's not here hahaha. We have really had none to speak of this year, lots of cold, but no snow....and I am totally fine with that :) But I do hope you enjoy it!

Enjoy your snow! We had flurries last week. Yes, snow flurries in Las Vegas! And we went to Utah on Sunday where they had a ton of snow! My son loved playing in it, but I'm glad to be warm again and no snow except on the high mountaintops around me!

How fun for a Texas girl to get to see snow! :) We've had quite a bit this year, but I love it! It's usually very cloudly and overcast and gray for most of the winter months and with the bright white snow, it helps to brighten everything up. I'd have a fresh blanket of snow every day if I had my way. :)

It's really cold today. Snow fall is still light, but it's windy too and the snow on the ground and roofs etc is blowing about. Burrrrr

This Florida gal loves looking at the photos and video, but I don't think I would fare well with the bundling up and freezing. LOL Thank you for sharing the beauty of it!!!

I was going to say... I am here FREEZING our heads and every other part of our bodies...so much that this is the ONE week in my life I am so glad I am agoraphobic because I don;t need to go anywhere :giggle

It isn't usual though, this snow, this cold.
They are saying is the coldest week we have had in 25 years!!!!
The problem in London (it maybe slightly better were you are @Kat ) is that the councils are not prepared....not enough machines, roads are not drivable or in some cases not even walking is safe, plus there is a bit of a Flu going strong ...We are lucky tio have an amazing Central heating which makes it ok if we are in....

But, Cheryl, when we bring you over, it will be in summer and we will go around with (what expect will be a new) the car and have an amazing time!!! we will decorate just for you guys!!!!!!

Have you never been in the snow? It's wonderful as long as you don't have to shovel it. I think the coldest I've been in was 18 degrees. Usually, It's sunny when it snows here. It's one thing I love about living in California. We take 3 little vacations each year. One to the ocean in Southern California, one in the Redwood Forest, & one in the snow.

It's very cold. Said it was 11 (F) overnight. My husband got up and walked to the trains this morning at 8 and I was worried he'd freeze before he got there. He took a few videos on the walk. It looks beautiful and a part of me wants to go out but the other part of me is a bit chilly INside. We've had flurries essentially all day. It doesn't look like there is a lot of snow but it could be up to 3 inches.

I'm ready for my European vacation! LOL

I've seen snow here in Florida which is barely a coating on the ground. It's happened I think four times in my life, I think? So other than that, nope, I've not been in snow!
