I've been at the pad for 6+ years, and I've been a designer at the pad for 2 years, but this will be my first time finishing MOC! Everyone deserves praise for participating and finishing, but if you're a first time finisher, post here so we can give you a round of applause! If you're a first time finisher, what will you take away from MOC? For me, it's empowering to know I can! I only finish my December Daily once out of three tries, and I've never finished a P52 or P365.
I'm a first time finisher I will take away from MOC scrapping outside my comfort zone. I never thought it will work for me.
Yay, Gina! I must agree. 2 or 3 of the challenges I was most worried about ended up being some of my favorite pages. <3 Congrats on your follow-through and stretching your creativity!
I am a first time participant and a first time finisher! What will I take away? Hmmm... That any style is within my reach if I put my mind to it. I am able to do things I never thought I would push through to finish - like the art doll and dispersion.
Way to go Susan and Gina! Both of you have done outstanding this MOC. I've really enjoyed seeing your pages. Completing MOC is hard for seasoned participants, so you should give yourselves an extra pat on the back for finishing and doing such a great job! @Pachimac @*gina* Lena - You just always rock!!! Congrats on finishing!! @Lena Gardner
This is the first year, I've participated. Still not sure if I've done them all right and I am pretty sure I'm not "registered", but........it was a fun experience. It is easy for me to get stuck in a rut and then my pages seem to look the same. The challenges gave me a new perspective to think about some of my pages. Some of it isn't my style, but I was able to see a few ways I could add to My style which will enrich my pages for years to come. So thank you Polly's (I hope that's the right term), for challenging me to step outside my comfort zone and try something new. I was impressed by the number of participants, the amazing talent that is on this site, and the community that is here. I even posted an Avatar....and that is something I never do.
This was my first time participating and my first time finishing! I'm so glad I did. It gave me the kick in the pants to get scrapping again. I'm desperately trying to finish my 2016 book...I got 20 pages done during MOC! I'm now in September of that book, all the birthdays are done, and the end is in sight. I've learned that it doesn't take a ton of time to put a page together...so I shouldn't keep procrastinating because I think it will take too much time! Had a great time! Thanks to all those who helped make it such a great event!
First MOC and finished im just so excited and im so excited it has made me love scrapbooking again, I have gotten so excited each day thinking about the LO I will make once I get my son to bed. im so sad its over ... looking forward to Tangies class now!!
It's always good to add to your style repertoire! Nice to "see" you and congratulations on finishing!!!!
I can so relate to this! After 12 years in this hobby I actually scrap pretty quickly--if I would make it a daily habit I wouldn't ever get behind. So happy you got that kick in the pants!
It does, doesn't it?! Every year the excitement seems to build to a whole new level! So glad that everyone participated and helped make it what it is! And congrats to all our first time finishers!
This is my first year seriously participating (I may have done one or two pages last year) and my first time finishing. I enjoyed it more than I thought I was going to -- even those challenges that I thought weren't my favorites ended up being fun.
