Ladies I need some help I use photoshop elements and am trying to get text to go inside of a shape. It is just 2 words, one on top of the other and I need it to fit inside of the shape exactly. Can anyone help a girl out?

Is this what you are trying to do?
If not, can you add a screenshot so we can help more?

Love the video Courtney, thanks. I always forget how to do this and have to look it up. You should add it to the learning pad.

No not what I'm reading to do. Although that is helpful for other things! I need more like sitting a monogram into a shape. So if it were a triangle I want the words to take on the shape of a triangle. I would upload a pic for you but all I have currently is my phone because my computers Internet isn't working real well

I know you can play with the warp tools. PSE doesn't have as many warp text options as Photoshop.
Maybe if you draw a triangle so you have a guidleline, then make a text layer, you can manipulate the text layer to match the triangle?
And maybe, @cfile Christa will be along! She is a master at text manipulation.

Awesome! I have tried playing with the warp tools but it wont seem to let me do enough to make it work like I need.
Thanks @cfile Christa for the help

@Stacy I am trying but I am not having any luck.. I am trying with the warp as well.. let me think on this overnight. I am more versed in PS CC but you should be able to do this in PSE. will tag you as soon as I think of something. Maybe someone else in the meantime will come up with omething too.

here was a tutorial for PS CC

.. but playing with the triangle, you have to simplify the text in PSE and then transform it using the distort and perspective etc. I will show you tomorrow. Not the greatest but you can manipulate it somewhat in PSE

Christa, that's all I could find too, but I couldn't duplicate it well enough to my liking in PSE. Ugh.

I agree Courtney. PSE is too limiting. The only thing I can think is perhaps every letter seperately but it still cannot be manipulated the same. Do you have Elements + ? Some say the Elements Plus plugin http://elementsplus.net/
gives PSE a lot of the features that PS CC has. Wonder if the Plus would have a warp to it under the transform? I am taking a look but unsure of that.

@Stacy I wish I could help more but PSE is very limiting. I am more versed in PS CC Sorry I couldn't help further.

I am so lazy I tend to buy templates with text shapes already in them, makes it easier for me.
Are you sure you don't have anything like that already?

Or maybe there's a site like wordle that will create it for you?

Totally random: you don't have a Silhouette do you? I know it's program can create some of those things.
