i cant get the little folds etc on the boxes to show. i am trying to follow the directions it comes with but i dont understand them . can someone simplify them and help me...thank you so very much
@bjc I hope you can see my layer pallet below. Layer 0 (bottom layer) is the original "mask" from the Bit Worn vol 7. I then duplicated layer 0. I then added a paper (from VW's expresso collab) above the bottom layer 0 and clipped that to layer 0. Then above the copy of layer 0, I added a Level adustment layer and clipped that to it. In the level properties (see the little box?) I took the middle slider. I slid it to the right under the "mountain" until the bends and creases were as I liked it. Let me know if that helps.
Anne made this tutorial: https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/video-a-bit-worn-topography-for-val-wibbens-by-me.39202/
@bjc Thank you for posting this!! I was going to and kept getting side tracked! I tried messing with 2 and 7 and got incredibly frustrated! @cfile Thank you for the screenshots!! That helped TONS!!! I was sliding the little triangles on the bar that only has 2, not 3...DOH! @Dalis I'll have to watch Anne's video too!
Using the right slider definitely made a world of difference!!! Now that I know a little bit more on what I'm doing, it makes me want to remake my pumpkin patch page!
off to give it a try..thank you ladies for your expertise... you are so very helpful. much appreciated.
also i was changing the opactiy on the wrong layer. its on the mask layer ? is there a way to save this and put in the folder with the templates ?-
The opacity adjustment is on the level adjustment layer. The mask layer remains at 100%, or at least that is what I found. If you want right click on my sample picture from here https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threa...it-worn-no-3-and-need-help.50666/#post-933791 and save to your computer or even put in the file with the a bit worn templates for future use
