I know it's late for my other continent friends, but what's in your weekend to dos?

Anything fun or exciting?

Me I'll be chatting here on Saturday! And other than that, nothing. Maybe read a book.

Well Melody has a surprise birthday party to go to tomorrow. And I am hope to do the SWL MIS. Other than that not a lot in the cards for me except being referee to my two currently feral children.

Not much in the way of plans here so far and I'm hoping to keep it that way. We'll probably go grab something to eat this evening and I need to take DS to sign up for baseball, but other than that, I'm relaxing, scrapping, and getting caught up around the house.

I'm still recuperating from our weekday night (Wed) in the city. We went to a cool little place in the village to see a Welch band. Brought my daughter and her friend too. It was a great experience but we all paid the price for not getting home until 1am and then needing to be up at 5:30am the next day. Today its the Science Fair all day. I am hoping to just sleep in on Sunday to catch up on my ZZZzzzs. Plus its FREEZING here in NY! yuck! I don't even want to go out.

Today is high school Solos & Ensembles Competition for our district. I will be taking my son to that this afternoon. Tomorrow is church and big Sunday dinner. Other than that, I really need to get some thank you notes out in the mail, but I need to make the cards first. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I really don't think we have any plans. Clara has dance today 11-3 and Alex has songwriting class 4-7. I think Jeff and I are watching Moonlight tonight. Tomorrow is church. Pretty low key weekend!

Well now that the swim team season is over and I can actually spend some time with my husband, I'm trying to talk him into going on a hike to find a frozen waterfall. It probably won't happen though, since he's already napping in his chair.

We are going to Best Buy today, stop at the grocery for tonight's needs and relaxing a bit during the day. I'll be making some appetizers as tonight we are having a bunch of friends over. Kids can all play and then adults can play too. We've got some games ready, so it should be fun!

Tomorrow, clean up, and relax. Laundry, too. Maybe grocery if we decide we don't want to do everything today for the week. Scrap!!!

youngest son has a bat mitzvah today so there is a lot of driving for that.
going to a political huddle this evening with my sister about the 2018 elections.
tomorrow there is a women's march event in the afternoon at a local college.
other than that the usual chores, errands, and such.

Leaving today for VACATION!!! Going to Myrtle Beach, SC. The ocean won't be warm yet and the air might won't be super warm, but we will be away. Looking forward to seeing new things, eating out, mini-golf, watching movies, and hanging with the family. And because they all like to sleep in - scrapping in the mornings!

I already did dishes & am currently working on some laundry. DD is working on a huge project for school that is due the first week of May so I will need to nudge her along in gathering information with the books we got from the library this week. I'm in the middle of reading Gary Vaynerchuk's newest book & need to finish chores, too.

Ummm, that's it?! We have church tomorrow. I will scrap & catch up on Hulu tonight once the kids are in bed.

My daughter has TWO performances, one each day this weekend. Today's was supposed to be last Saturday but the severe thunderstorm knocked out the electricity at Bella Cafe!

And Sunday evening she's performing for our neighborhood "adult's night out" event.

Happy weekend everyone!

@michelepixels How awesome for your daughter!

I'm babysitting a big goofy black lab mix, Ava (you've probably seen her in some of my LOs), she's like part of the family and we often have her for overnight sleepovers when her owner is away or working. So I'm pretty sure my daughter's cat Noel will be hiding out in the bedroom most of the weekend LOL. I'll try to get some desk work done and some CT work too during the day in between playing with the dogs and going to the park.

Tomorrow will be more of the same and then I'll take Ava home in the afternoon. I've got lots of overtime work (desk work) to keep me busy all wkend so I'm sure I won't finish it but would like to make a big dent in the workload.

One load of laundry, some dishes, scrapping, reading, cross stitching, church in AM.

Currently, Daniel has a friend over. Olivia unexpectedly came over this weekend, too, and Jay's sister dropped by last night. I was a bit loud over here.

Have a great time!! We love Myrtle Beach! We go at least a couple of times a year, more if we can! Lots of fun things even if it's not the warmest!

DS had a bday party last night. So our weekend started off pretty eventful...for a 5yo. :) But today has been low-key, which I'm happy about. DD had a swim lesson but DH took her and he brought DS with him, so I had time to myself. So I watched bad reality TV (Marriage Boot Camp) and had breakfast. Then DH came home and was like "what are we doing today?" in a voice that let me know he was really asking "do we have to leave the house again?" lol, so we've just hung around. It's been nice cuz the past 2 months have been pretty wild, with illnesses and bday parties and visiting family, etc.
But we do have to go to Costco tmw. We're almost out of tortillas, dish detergent, and other staples. And I want to look for drapery at a nearby-ish store. DH will looooove that lol, but that's what he gets for taking Saturday off from running errands! :queen Oh, and we have to move some furniture around. We bought 2 new, full-size sofas a few weeks ago and now it feels like we're drowning in furniture. We also got a few little pieces--side tables, mostly--recently. Before, it looked like frat boys had just moved in with their crappy, hand-me-down IKEA furniture: now it looks like NICE stuff, but some rooms seem claustrophobic. Anyway, it's gonna be a beast to move some of the stuff, but I can't keep looking at a drop-side dining room table in my living room. Even I have standards! :lol

Harper and Greyson spent the day with us yesterday. Their Mommy had a swim meet to coach for school and their daddy was working.
Today is cleaning and grocery shopping and relaxing (which we always do the "day after" a day with the grandbabies! LOL!)
