Welcome to the very last MOC5 challenge! We hope you've been inspired, stretched your creativity and fired up your scrapping skills. Please join me as well in a big round of applause for our amazing Pollys who've done such incredible work on this event. Special thanks - as ever - to our fearless Challenge Lead, Julie.

Every year when Julie and I are ready to start planning the next MOC, we have a big brainstorming phone call to decide how we're going to update the challenges. This particular challenge was actually inspired by a paper page I did that showed all the colleges my oldest daughter and I visited as she was trying to choose a school. I texted a pic of that page to Julie and, from it, this challenge was born.

The inspiration behind this challenge is to use a map and show your journey from here to there. Some may choose to do a vacation page, like my own sample below, but if you're not a traveler, there are many other interpretations of it. You could show several places you've lived. You could show a route around your hometown with your favorite restaurants. You could even use this challenge to plan the path of your dream vacation. Endless possibilities...and I can't wait to see where you go with them!

    Requirements:
    1. Use a map. This can be a map on scrapbooking paper, a template, a map that you've downloaded/photographed, or even a screenshot from Google maps.
    2. Mark at least 3 locations using an element, such as a geotag, star, etc. The choice of element is yours. Bonus points for marking your route as well.
    3. A minimum of 3 photos. The map does NOT count as one of your photos. Stock photos are permitted as long as they are properly obtained and credited.
    4. A minimum of 3 lines of journaling

    Tip:
Many government websites offer high-quality maps that you can download, some even in PSD or PDF format, for easy scrapbooking.

    Rules:
Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page should be uploaded to the TLP Gallery and not an outside hosting site. Please post your page in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean. You should also post your page here in this thread, and people can comment here if they wish. Pages should contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store). All MOC pages must be posted in your main MOC page thread by 11:59 pm eastern time on February 2 in order to count!

    Here's my sample page

And a very cool sample page from Aaron with some Disney inspiration!

Awesome new challenge!! I have loads of photos from the 50s when my mother and her parents traveled. Its fun to see the photos, but I would love to actually document where they went! Cant wait to see everyone's layouts! I had a blast this MOC! Thank you everyone!

Oh my goodness... I was already thinking about using a map for this very page so this was super quick to put together! Officially finished with my Atlanta Trip LO's :-)

    1. Use a map. This can be a map on scrapbooking paper, a template, a map that you've downloaded/photographed, or even a screenshot from Google map

Can the map be a template like SWL's Traveling the US Templates?

I know you said template above, but I wanted to make sure this was okay before I messed up the last MOC and didn't complete it due to me misunderstanding.

This is a great idea for a challenge! Would you believe I have never been to Yellowstone? I love the idea of having your own private guide, wow!

What a great challenge to end the MOC! I absolutely adore map pages, they're my favorite intro page for vacation albums, and I can't wait to get started. :D
