Since this is a photography thread I wonder what everyone shoots with and what they have stashed in their bag?

This is what is in my bag:

    Camera: Canon 50D
    Len's: EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM (my fav by far), EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM, EF 50mm f/1.8 II
Clean Len's with: Lens Pen (love it!)
    External Flash: 580EX II
Memory Cards: a couple SanDisk Extreme III CF 30MB/s 4GB cards
Type of Camera Bag: Jill-e medium pink

    Finally...

    Nikon D90 and a Nikkor 50mm.

My bag is a Crumpler. I love it but don't use it that often since my camera tends to stay in the cabinet when I am home.

    Hi everyone!

I've only recently moved into the world of DSLRs and its rapidly becoming a bit of an obsession! I have a Sony a200, with the 18mm - 70mm kit lens and bought a 50mm prime lens (1.8 max aperture) I LOVE it! Haven't put the zoom lens back on since!

I have a canon rebel with a 50 mm lens (1.4) that I haven't taken off since I got it. (I too have a tamron zoom on my christmas list, too funny.)
I carry this in my purse-I purposely buy purses with flat bottoms and two compartments so that I can.
I am looking forward to learning more about [photography this winter. If this darn harvest season would EVER get over already!

I'm so jealous. I don't even have a "bag" - just a plain old Canon point and shoot.

Oh this is definitely a thread for me!! I'm dreaming about a new lens but wasn't sure which one to choose...

    I have a Canon 400D, and 2 lenses :
    1 Canon 28-105mm f/3.5
1 Tamron 25-75mm f/2.8 (and YES, a good choice for your christmas list :))

Now I want a 50mm. I was dreaming about the Canon 50mm f/1.4... I'd love to be able to take indoor pictures without using the flash...
    Any thoughts about this one?

Rez you say that the EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM is you favorite... could you please explain why?

Normally, I have a Nikon d80, but it's getting repaired after an unfortunate drop. :(

But, I have a Nikon P&S and I love it too. I'm a Nikon girl if you haven't noticed. LOL
