makes me not want to update to Sierra yet. I have a high end iMac that I bought in November. It's still pretty perfect
Last night I was googling trying to help my daughter find some speeches online that she wanted to watch. The website she goes to was changed and we had to get creative with the search engine to find where the videos were hidden.
Totally. Well, maybe not exciting, but worthwhile? Good job taking care of you! Spelling counts! And how cool that you sub edit! Um.... What is sub editing? I love getting creative with search engines! Sounds like you found them again!
How to block numbers using my Verizon account . . . because some idiot texted me the other day with: your garbage I was like, my garbage? What about my garbage? Is it out of the can? Is the can in the road? Bwahahahaha I mean, if you are going to spam, at least get your grammar right and use YOU ARE or YOU'RE! Then today, after I didn't respond: Sorry autocorrect I meant your great Um, seriously? I searched the number before I searched for how to block the number and was able to get a name on one site and then a street name and zip code on another. Between the two, I'm fairly certain it's a friend of Daniel's or someone who has stolen his phone. So I just chose to block it.
I was trying to remember the name of the actress turned singer in the Australian show Neighbours - Kylie Minogue. Ha having Goggle is wonderful to aid the memory slippage.
I'm the person that checks the spelling and grammar and tightens everything up before publication. As all journalists say, everyone hates the 'sub' I do it for DH (who puts out a daily newsletter) and for a daily banking newsletter from Australia. The time difference means they don't have to find a sub-editor in Australia willing to get up at 4am. I get up at 6am to do it.
My DH and I lived there when we were first married, so I was seeing how many of our old favorites are still open. We will probably be revisiting some and trying some new stuff since now we have two kids (who are the primary reason for this visit).
I last googled the creepy peeping Tom halloween decoration that home Depot just pulled from their shelves in Canada. I was telling my husband about it. I would die of a heart attack if I saw something like that in my window at night!
Hmm...probably something related to Harry Potter and the London Warner Brothers Studios, for my album that I just finished. I found that Wikipedia is/was my friend. So much information there for journaling all those old, historic places that we visited.
Hurricane Matthew. I'm supposed to go to Florida on Saturday for my sister's wedding but flying into Florida is looking dicey for this weekend. Fortunately the wedding isn't til next weekend, so hopefully it'll work out ok.
And now I have to go find that.... Ok, yeah. That's a little too creepy for me!! In case anyone else wants to look, it's called Scary Peeper!
it was last night - we played wheel of fortune on our wii. the category was "person" and we twice tried to solve "Cardshark" as the answer. the word was "Cardsharp". We'd never heard it that way, so I looked it up to make sure it was actually true!
Is Betty White still alive? yeah, someone posted one of those she "dyed" articles. The response jokes about her blonde hair were great. And before that, was there really a skull in Hurricane Matthew? And yes, there was. Although originally it was pink but now there is a creepy grey version floating around on Facebook.
